Indian Andhra Pradesh Textile Trader Closed** VAT

The Andhra Pradesh textile mills plan to close on July 11** The state imposes a 4% VAT on textiles.

The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Textile Association made the above decision after the state government announced a government order that began collecting textiles on July 11th.

The vice president of the state textile association and the convenor of the value-added tax conference, BMalleshwar Reddy, said that the government did not consider the interests of the textile trader before issuing the order.

He explained that before the announcement of the government's order, the state government had listened to the opinions of the textile traders, but did not wait until the association reached an agreement on this issue and announced the order.

In Orissa, the government reduced the value-added tax only 10 days after the textile trader held the event.
