Taiwan's Bureau of Standards, Inspection and Quarantine announced that amendments should test the effective date of textiles

The Standards Inspection Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the People's Republic of China announced on June 20, 2011 (2011) that "the inspection requirements for the inspection of textiles (towels, sweaters, ready-to-wear, swimwear, underwear, hosiery, hosiery, bedding, etc.) items subject to 346 inspections" shall be established. It will take effect on January 1, 2012.

Since September this year, the bureau has received numerous reports that “it has been learned recently that relevant items such as towels, sweaters, ready-to-wear, swimwear, underwear, hosiery, bedding, and other 346 items will be implemented starting from January 1, 2012. It is not possible to understand the inspection system in depth within a short period of time, and it is recommended that it be postponed for implementation so as to facilitate preparation during the buffer period and ensure compliance with inspection requirements after formal implementation."

Since 2009, the Bureau of Standards and Inspections of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the People's Republic of China has started to uncover product inspection issues. Since the formal announcement on June 20, 2011, it has handled 42 presentations nationwide and issued 10 press releases advocating inspection requirements.

However, considering the large number of companies involved in this inspection, there are currently only about 800 companies applying for registration. In order to avoid causing the impact of most of the industry, after consulting with relevant units, they decided to postpone implementation.

The Bureau of Standards, Inspection and Quarantine publishes an amendment to test that the effective date of textile products is October 1, 2012. If it is a commodity that has been printed with the “Commodity Inspection Mark” due to inspection requirements of the Bureau, in order to avoid influencing business opportunities, the inspection obligor must confirm the product itself. It can still be listed after meeting the inspection standards. The Bureau will purchase sample inspections from time to time in the market, and strengthen the monitoring of textiles bearing inspection marks. If there are any standards that do not meet the inspection standards, they will be required to improve the shelves and harm consumers. At the time of health and safety, it is handled in accordance with consumer protection laws.
