Changsha Sex Expo in September held 700 pieces of cultural relics for the audience feast for the eyes
On the morning of September 9, a significant signature campaign titled "Caring for Life, Drug Control and AIDS Prevention to Create a Beautiful Life" took place at Changsha Broad Urological Hospital. Approved by the Hunan Provincial Population and Family Planning Commission and co-hosted by the Changsha Municipal Population and Family Planning Commission, Changsha Narcotics Control Commission, China Sex Museum, and other institutions, Changsha Broad Urological Hospital is proud to be a co-sponsor of the "Hunan Love 2009 Changsha Second Sexual Health cum Sex Culture Expo," set to take place from September 17 to 26 at the Hongxing International Convention and Exhibition Center in Changsha.
The "2008 Changsha First Sexual Health and Sexual Culture Expo" was a huge success at the Changsha Hongxing International Convention and Exhibition Center, creating quite a stir in Star City Changsha and sparking widespread public discussion. According to incomplete statistics, last year's expo drew nearly 100,000 visitors, receiving active participation from people across various sectors and achieving notable social benefits.
Building upon the success of last year’s inaugural event, the "Hunan Love 2009 Changsha Sex Expo" is themed around "Hunan Health Sexual Agencies," with the mission of "Promoting Healthy Sex Education and Advancing a Harmonious Life." With an exhibition area of 5,000 square meters, the content of the expo is divided into six major sections: family planning and anti-AIDS publicity image promotion, ancient and modern Chinese and foreign sexual knowledge, cultural relic displays, adult sex toys and sexual health product exhibitions, body art showcases, sexual health civilization book and publication exhibitions, and folk culture collection exhibits.
During the expo, five key activities will be organized: first, seminars on sexual culture and sexual health hot topics; second, screenings of population planning, anti-AIDS, and anti-drug educational films; third, performances featuring sexy lingerie models, body painting art, and Mei Mei pipe dance; fourth, an exhibition viewing prize giveaway; and fifth, million-signature events organized to enter campuses and communities, offering free family planning supplies, anti-AIDS drug-related information, and more.
According to Wang Zhihong, Deputy Director of the Organizing Committee, the committee visited the China Sexuality Museum in Shanghai and carefully selected over 700 cultural relics from both domestic and international sources to bring to Changsha. These are exceptional pieces in the realm of cultural relics, showcasing reproductive, anti-AIDS, anti-narcotics, and other related textual and visual information. The amount of content will be more than double that of last year, allowing visitors to explore comprehensively; various adult sex toys and sexual health products have also received enthusiastic interest from exhibitors. Additionally, the conference has drawn inspiration from successful fairs in Guangzhou and Kunming, introducing pole dancing, lingerie catwalks, and body painting as forms of expression that will captivate attendees at the venue.
To encourage more citizens to actively participate in this exhibition and promote the popularization and dissemination of scientific knowledge, this year’s expo offers discounted admission fees of 10 yuan per person for college students, revolutionary soldiers, and holders of senior citizen cards.
