Local turnover of cotton cloth slightly increased
In the coming days, the scorching summer heat is still prevailing, and the cotton fabric market in China Light Textile City has experienced some fluctuations in sales volume. Despite the temporary drop in demand, local fabric sales have seen a slight rebound, while spot prices have remained relatively stable.
Currently, the demand for cotton fabrics remains strong, particularly for 30S × 30S and 68 × 66 printed cotton fabrics, which are widely used for making women's shorts and dresses. Although transaction volumes have slowed down slightly, the market is still active with steady trading. The bulk price for 145CM wide printed cotton fabric is still around 7.10 yuan per meter, while smaller batches are priced at approximately 7.20 yuan per meter.
Meanwhile, the 32S × 32S and 66 × 66 printed cotton fabrics have shown sluggish turnover in recent days, but spot prices remain largely unchanged. Small batch purchases of 145CM wide fabric are currently priced at around 6.50 yuan per meter, while larger orders can get it for about 6.40 yuan per meter.
Overall, the market is showing signs of stability despite the slow-moving transactions, with prices holding firm and buyers remaining cautious but not overly concerned. It seems that the demand for cotton fabrics is still resilient, and the market is adjusting to the ongoing hot weather conditions.
